Beer Festivals

People often ask the question why we don't hold a beer festival once in a while. We like to take the view that we hold a beer festival every day of the year. Whilst we agree it would be a novel idea to hold a festival once in a while making available say 30 – 40 beers over a weekend. What is the chance of your average drinker being able to sample all 40 beers over a two day period? On an average month we can get through 35-40 different beers all of which are in top condition. There's nothing more rewarding for a landlord than someone complementing on the condition of the beer; especially when he's not a real ale drinker.. It has also been know for us to have 10 different guest ales in one day

And remember if you're not coming back for a while and you like a beer we also offer two pint waxed cardboard cartons for you to take home at no extra charge.

Is The Customer Always Right?

Our initial aim is to do something different. Good or maybe not so good (but an experiance) we understand that, (although the landlord would like to think he could do different) we can't totally please everyone all the time. Unfortunately, we have learnt through experence that when people complain, they tell us, leave and we never see them again. We would like to promise that any suggestion given to us on how we are able improve our service will be considered. We also hope that those who have suggested their ideas, return to see if their next visit has been a better experence. Any comments regarding our service (good or not so good) can be emailed to us, delivered by royal mail, or you can let us know in person. Alternativly, we have come across an independant website where people may post their comments.
